Kolaches

Need I say more?

These are like a mouthful of Texas heaven!!!


Pretty spiffy huh?

Let's get this party started.



Now, kolaches. There's like a million varieties. Not even kidding.

I wanted a mouthful of Texas, so mine features the classic jalepeno, sausage and cheese taste.


Here's the recipe:

Thawed Rhodes dinner rolls

1/2 roll breakfast sausage

1/2 small pkg of hamburger

1/3 cup of chopped onion

2 chopped jalepenos 

1tbl spoon chopped garlic

1 pkg ranch seasoning

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Put everything except the dough into a pot. Cook until meat is crumbled and cooked through.

Add about a cup of cheese to the meat.

Spoon mixture onto flattened bread dough.
Fold and seal.
Grease a casserole pan with one capful of Olive oil. Place stuffed rolls in pan, with slice of jalepeno on top. Bake at 375 for about twenty minutes. Or until the rolls are huge and golden brown.
